The pre-holiday week began, followed by a bright holiday of revival and new life. Everyone is preparing for Easter, looking at the basket, asking for cakes, discussing recipes and plans for the weekend. And since the plans are more related to the “table part,” we have prepared several recommendations from the nutritionist, Natalia Fedorenko.
How to get out of the post without harm?
During fasting, there is a restructuring of metabolism and the work of the entire gastrointestinal tract. Therefore, it is necessary to return to the usual diet gradually.
On the first day after the end of fasting, it is recommended to refrain from using the traditional “Easter cuisine” (Easter cakes, baked pastries, boiled eggs). It contains a large amount of animal fats. At a minimum, it is worth limiting yourself to one symbolic Easter egg. From alcoholic beverages, on this day, it is also worth giving up.
Immediately after fasting, you can introduce fermented milk products (kefir, sourdough, cheese with a low percentage of fat, soft cheeses) into the diet. They are well absorbed by the body.
In the first week after fasting, it is better to eat in small portions every 2-3 hours. Lean on vegetable products, fresh fruits and vegetables. Do not forget between meals to drink 1-2 glasses of water at room temperature. Of meat dishes, steam cutlets from poultry meat should be preferred. Fish lovers should pay attention to dishes from cod or pike perch.

How to maintain composure at the festive table?
Avoid fasting before Easter. I do not recommend & nbspporushit habitual diet, even if required by the church canons.
Stop eating better before the feeling of satiety. Enjoy lunch, eat with pleasure, but pay more attention to your own communication with family and friends. Go out for walks, have fun, move, play with children and relax!
Do not overdo it with alcohol. First, alcohol is a high-calorie product. It retains fluid in the body, which negatively affects the weight. By reducing the sensitivity of the nervous system, alcohol increases hunger, which leads to overeating.
So… if you did not have enough willpower and you ate – do not execute yourself. Arrange a day of mono-diet a day after the festive table, but do not starve. Consume foods of the same group (fermented milk or vegetables). To normalize digestion, lemon, herbal infusions, dog rose, choleretic fees will help you.
Recipe for the original cheese cake with mango puree

You will need: 0.5 kg of soft cheese with a fat content of 5%, 4 eggs, 1 tbsp. starch, lemon zest, fresh mango or frozen puree.
Cheese wipe through a sieve. Separate the whites from the yolks. Mix the yolks with the cheese mass, add lemon zest and starch.
Gently add the whipped proteins into a cool foam. Arrange in molds and bake until tender (about 20 minutes). We chose small molds for cupcakes.
Cool the resulting cakes. From the mango to cook mashed potatoes and decorate the cake. If desired, you can decorate with almond petals or a sprig of mint.
